Bowling Alley original

A couple, elegantly dressed dances the dance of lovers.   A lone bride stands by the entrance to the bowling lanes, a woman in red belts out a tune. The setting is an opulent palace of sorts, its walls covered in frescoes displaying scenes from the Five Books of Moses.  Biblical characters fill the heavens above while Jacob wrestles the angel in a lower arch.  Statues fill the recesses and balconies.  On the other side of the hall pipes, turbines, and the steel of machines act as a more industrial concept of utilitarian beauty.
  I enjoy mixing eras and styles, it is the playful element of my art, where history and cultures are blurred to create an interesting and hopefully delightful and unexpected setting.
