"Shema" original

The universe speaks to us, not always with words 
but with swirls of color and
the omnipresent dance of light and shadow.
There is darkness and the ability to see,
that which we feel,
the separation between day and night.
Father to son, generation to generation.
The earth tuns and we recite a prayer calling us to listen, shema, to hear that which lies within,
as well as the other, which is the space around us.
