Maya Painting her Face original

Lightly applying a base and adding color.

I watched from outside her window, as my daughter Maya applied her makeup. The way in which she held her brush, lightly applying a base and adding color, blending them into her own skin tone to accentuate the delicate shape of her eyelids. It reminded me of my own painting technique, here was my daughter painting her beautiful face and here is my painting of her painting.
