Falls from a questioning sky

On the coldest of days in Southern Ontario, on the darkest of nights, a freezing rain, chills the soul  and falls from the questioning sky.

Hitting the ground, the rain freezes into black ice. Slippery and dangerous, an empty parking lot becomes a skating rink to a lone  ice skater.

She dances, carving frozen figures into black ice.
