The Last Selfie, as the End is Revealed print

Three young ladies are photographing themselves. 

Behind them the world is coming to an end, and to this they are oblivious. The sky which had been blue and serene has now become a puzzle, whose pieces are falling to the ground, revealing the “End of Times”.

This work speaks of the human condition, combined with a tongue in cheek critique of a society obsessed with image and the act of simply being. The work attempts to, expose the tensions inherent in our relationship to nature, our obsessions and apathy toward our surroundings and each other.
